On the morning of 1st February, at the conference room on the first floor of the administration building, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Junior High Department of the east campus held the work summary meeting in terms of teaching and research in this semester. The meeting was chaired by Vice Director Wang Shengxiang. Also in attendance were Principal Assistant& Junior High Director Lu Dan as well as team leaders from both the subject teaching& research group and the lesson preparation group.
In the first place, leaders of each discipline teaching and research group combed the work in this term and conducted comprehensive summing-up and exchange in regard to the teaching and research activities, construction of the teaching and research group, classroom teaching, class attending and evaluation in addition to highlights and deficiencies at work.
In the second place, Deputy Director Wang Shengxiang proceeded the overall conclusion regarding this semester’s teaching and research work. He fully affirmed that each teaching and research group had implemented research activities systematically in accordance with the teaching and research plans formulated at the beginning of this term. Teachers and students took an active part in all kinds of competitions and achieved brilliant results. In the meantime, Deputy Director Wang Shengxiang pointed out some existing inadequacies at work.
In the third place, Principal Assistant& Junior High Director Lu Dan made a keynote speech in which he laid emphasis on three key words: gratitude, gratification and expectation. To be specific, Principal Assistant Lu Dan thanked all group leaders’ hard work and their exemplary role. Furthermore, he felt gratified of the satisfactory achievement obtained in the teaching and research work. In addition, Principal Assistant Lu Dan hoped that in the new semester each teaching and research group would make plans in advance, pool the wisdom and efforts of everyone and make a more powerful teaching and research team.
In a word, we reflect on ourselves through summary and improve ourselves through reflection. Also, we believe the teaching and research work shall make still further progress in the new term.
